SAFETY
OUR GUIDES & HELICOPTERS
In Valle Nevado we have highly experienced mountain guides and Eurocopter B3 helicopters. Our guides are certified mountain guides, evaluation, avalanche control and risk, rescue, supervenience, first aid in remote areas, route selection, among others.
Each client receives modern safety equipment consisting of an airbag backpack, a transmitter/receiver for avalanche victim rescue, shovel and probe.
Before each departure, training is conducted to learn in depth the use of the safety devices they carry, as well as the behavior around the helicopter and on the ground and communication protocols. In case the client misuses the Airbag, there will be a cost of USD 150.
