How To Get Here
Valle Nevado is located 37 miles from Santiago, and it takes on average 90 minutes to reach the resort. If driving your own vehicle, check conditions on our website first. If snow is present, you will be asked at the police checkpoint to show that you are carrying chains. If you do not have chains, they can be rented at the chain rental area along the road just before reaching the checkpoint.
Drive east on the Costanera Norte throughfare and take the La Dehesa Sur exit; cross the bridge and turn left at the stoplight at Avenida Las Condes. Continue east until you reach the fork (at the gas station) and bear right, heading up the “Camino a Farellones” (road toFarellones). Continue until Curva 40 and bear right at the turnoff for Valle Nevado, continuing on for another 15 minutes until you reach the "Curva 17" day visitor parking lot.
Monday to Friday (except holidays)
The road is open to two-way traffic all day.
Saturday, Sunday, and holidays
The road is one-way for drivers heading uphill between 8am and 3pm. The road is open to downhill traffic from 4pm to 8pm. Two-way traffic is open during these from 8pm to 8am.*Hours subject to change according to road authorities.
