Torchlight parade
Magic in the Andes
Every Saturday beginning at 18:30pm, the mountain lights up with a spectacular torchlight parade. Don’t miss the opportunity to share together with your family this exciting weekly event.

If you forget your gloves, goggles or helmet, or simply want to check out the latest trends in accessories and ski and snowboard clothing, our Shopping Boulevard awaits you on the upper terrace. Here you’ll find a dozen stores selling brand-name gear and clothing, and souvenirs.

Celebrate these holidays with your loved ones. We provide entertaining surprises and attractive deals that will leave your family smiling.
Guest Race
You don’t need to be a professional racer to know that competitions are fun to participate in. Every Thursday, Valle Nevado hosts ski and snowboard races for its guests so that they can test their own speed and abilities.
Igloo Building
Families love our igloo/mountain shelter activities. This excursion, let by a Valle Nevado guide, takes guests on a snowshoe walk to the outskirts of the resort while learning about using the constellations as a guide for the trip return. As part of the activity, participants learn to build an igloo / mountain shelter and learn about survival techniques in the outdoors.
Family BBQ at Bajo Zero
Saturday lunches are the most fun at Bajo Zero. Our mountain restaurant, located in the heart of Valle Nevado’s slopes, fires up the BBQ for delicious shish-kebabs with Chilean salsa, and DJ music.
“Bugs” Competition
Even the smallest ones in your family can show off in our Terrain Park. This competition, divided into categories “fleas,” “crickets,” and “grasshoppers,” give your kids a chance to test themselves in a Boarder cross or slopestyle competition.

Day Care
Enjoy your day skiing while your little ones enjoy themselves painting and playing in our day care center, supervised by childcare professionals for your peace of mind. Our day care is for children 4 to 7 years old, and can be for a half or full day.
Snow Garden
Safe fun
Valle Nevado’s Snow Garden offers group classes for children 4 to 7 years old, taught by professional instructors who are specialized in teaching young children, at a level appropriate for their age. The Snow Garden is a special ski area designed with safety in mind, so that your kids feel secure and confident while adapting to the snow and their surroundings. Kids should arrive to class with full equipment, including skis, boots, appropriate clothing, sunglasses or goggles, gloves or mitten, and sunscreen.
Hours
Half-day: 9:45am to 12:00pm.
Full-day, with lunch: 9:45am to 4pm.
Magic Carpet

To simplify learning our Snow Garden is equipped with a Magic Carpet lift, to make moving up the hill easy.
