Private classes for disabled skiers
We believe everyone should have the opportunity to ski at Valle Nevado. For this reason, we offer classes adapted to disabled skiers so they can learn in a safe environment, with professional instructors who are qualified and knowledgeable of teaching with special needs.
Every year, a group of our best instructors attends special clinics given by the esteemed U.S. organization Challenge Aspen www.challengeaspen.com , in order to perfect and update techniques for teaching disabled skiers.
Classes are available for the following skiers with special needs:
Cognitive or visual difficulties
- Down Syndrome
- Limited vision
- Blind
Motor skills difficulties with legs or arms
- Amputated Limbs
- Problems with balance
- Paraplegic
- Quadriplegic
